The Golden Touch Project

When Silver Queen Fine Art approached Friends of Animals Utah in search of the perfect gallery cat, Midas was the only choice. We were on a mission to find a gallery companion that wouldn't damage our new, one of a kind leather sofa, and he was the only fellow without claws. At the time, our Midas was actually named Tater for his Tater Tot-like quality, as he is golden in color and as round as a bag of taters. However, we decided that title was not fitting for such a regal and celebrated feline. After letting our clients send in their suggested names, an e-ballot was sent to our 2000-plus clients. There were many great choices, but an overwhelming number of clients agreed that Tater would forever be crowned Midas, King of the Silver Queens.

Because Midas has been such a perfect addition to the gallery, Silver Queen Fine Art, Nunwell Glass, and Dani Blade have teamed up to create The Golden Touch Project.
Beautiful, whimsical, limited-edition glass paperweights have been created to honor and benefit the amazing work of Friends of Animals Utah.

Your purchase will do many wonderful things for this much appreciated Park City non-profit.

A substantial portion of every purchase will benefit Friends of Animals Utah. This edition alone will spay or neuter, vaccinate, and feed 40 cats for one year. F.O.A.U. is a no-kill shelter located in Summit County. Please visit foautah.org for more info.
