ALICE!

"Alice" is shockingly brilliant. Never before has Tim released such a fanciful sculpture and it's exclusively available at the Silver Queen! This cotton candy- colored frog is the star amongst variegated gold leafed mushroom caps, stained with shades of blue. What's luck got to do with it???

There are plenty of lucky things in life.

A Lucky Horse Shoe, hung properly on the wall.

A Wishbone, especially the larger half of one that has been tugged apart by two people.

Seeing a Shooting Star is thought to be pretty darn lucky.

Lucky Charms Cereal. Because we said so.

Crossing your fingers for good luck is a common action to induce its charms.

A Four Leaf Clover is considered good luck for its rarity.

And though we think it's inhumane, a Rabbit's Foot is considered good luck in our culture.

Also, (if found heads up, with the proper year, and on a day which one feels fine with bending in half to pick up a dirty coin,) a Lucky Penny can be sought after by many superstitious people!

The Portly Pickle

Here at the Silver Queen Gallery, we love pickles. Lisa found a great pickle for all of us to share, and though she wasn't there to experience it with Timm and Becca, we still pause now to tell you the tale that is....

The Portly Pickle.

First there was the cutting of the Portly Pickle. It was a beast!

Then after the pickle cutting, was the pickle tasting....

Which did not end up going very well! It was kinda... gross!

Still, whatever way you look at it, we were both in awe. Thanks, Lisa, for an amazingly huge pickle to split. Next time I think we'll just stick with the kind that are right from the jar!
